A MESSAGE FROM THE STATE DIRECTOR

ARE YOU FED UP?

Are you choking on 'god bless you.' Do you wonder how much longer rational thinkers in Michigan will tolerate a primitive and superstitious public display of 'in god we trust' painted on the wall of OUR State capitol, or posted in OUR schools, OUR municipal buildings, or OUR libraries? Now our Michigan legislatures want to join the 'Hang Ten' gang and post the Ten Commandments in all our public buildings, thereby, declaring Michigan a monotheist, Christian State. Isn't it scary that this graffiti, patronizing an invisible and unprovable entity, is publicly endorsed by OUR elected officials who we are trusting to use sound judgment when making decisions about important matters? And here is the really scary news: Our Michigan legislatures are taking this action pretty much unchallenged. We need to speak up, write letters, make phone calls and pay our legislatures a visit. The time for action is now.
